# Disabling devices

Sometimes connected devices must be temporarily turned off, e.g., due to renovation work in the office building. To skip sending [email notifications](/reference/account-settings/email-notifications.md) for such devices, mark them as disabled in the Roombelt administration panel:

1. Click the "three dots" icon for the device.
2. Select the "Disable" option.
3. Optionally, provide the service message displayed on the device if it gets turned on.
4. Click "Disable device".

You can re-enable the device by clicking it on the devices list in the administration panel.
